PCOD : A lifestyle Disorder.

The most common health condition affecting women of age group 12–45 years is PCOD (Polycystic Ovarian Disease). In other words, we can say this is a hormonal imbalance condition commonly found in women. A hormonal disorder that results in noncancerous cysts along with enlarged ovaries called in medical terms.

The most common symptoms of PCOD include irregular menstrual cycles, Obesity, Excess unwanted hair growth, acne, which one can notice significantly. The exact cause behind this disease is not known yet. But the reason includes both genetic and atmospheric factors.

But, Can we define PCOD as a medical disease? The answer is NO. It is a lifestyle disorder more than a medical condition. Many women around the world are worried because of PCOD. Symptoms like Excess weight gain, Infertility is affecting the physical and mental health of women diagnosed with PCOD.

With medical treatment, an improved lifestyle is another thing that is much more needed. Regular Exercise, Weight Management, Essential nutrients in the diet like natural food, high fiber food, green leafy vegetables, fruits, avoiding unnecessary stress, Proper Hydration ,Sufficient Sleep with a HAPPY MIND helps to manage PCOD.

So all the Ladies out there! Stop worrying about PCOD as a disorder and practice a better version of lifestyle as a part of life to avoid the consequences of PCOD and live a stress-free, peppy life.
